Ok, here is what I have learned so far. If I try to make a perfect blog, write a rough draft, reread and edit it, it will never get done. So this will be a blog more like a journal.
We are currently in Virginia and we have traveled pretty quickly to get here with 2 and 3 night stays. Setting up and taking down is more work than it’s worth for these stays. It’s easier to have just one overnight or a long stay which we have yet to experience. We are at this current campground for a week and feel so relaxed, but weirdly not settled yet.
On our way here we had a tire blowout and found out the tires are from 2012. We are annoyed because we had wanted to get new tires when we bought the used RV and we were told that they were fine. Of course, a blowout could happen anytime on any tire! But more likely on an old tire. We have TPMS and it gave us no indication whatsoever that the tire was too hot or had too much pressure.
Long story short, we’ve not fully unpacked because we need to drive the RV to the repair shop. Fortunately, that will happen today (Tuesday) and we are staying here until Sunday! Looking forward to the multi-night stay. Unfortunately, the repair shops are booked out for months but they are willing to sell us tires and put them on and the body repair will have to remain duck taped for now…
