Getting there
The access to Fairy Stone State Park is great. No sharp turns, no barriers, nothing obstructing the way to the campground. There is a big hill after entering a state park but nothing too challenging. Within the campground itself, there are narrow roads that have been washed away in places. I would not like to drive anything bigger than our rig through the campground.
Site
We were parked at site 50, the parking was a bit of a challenge but we managed to fit in the end. The space around was amazing – a lot of room around and best of all, you are in the middle of a forest!
Mobile signal
- Verizon: nope.
- ATT: enough for a phone call.
- T-Mobile: used this as my primary data provider. I did need my 25FT antenna and a booster though. I could work with that setup
Campground offering
The campground itself does not have that many things to do but it does have hiking trails and a very short walk to the beach! The park itself hosts various events. We went and learned about black bears and loved it.
