Getting there
We had no issues getting to Jellystone Cherokee Campground. The only thing to keep in mind is that once you leave Cherokee, you will lose signal. Also, do not attempt to try and access the campground from Blue Ridge Parkway. The access road is a small forest path and you won’t make it with an RV. The only odd thing to watch out for that got us is that there are 7 speed bumps. Some of them are plastic and some of them are concrete and blend in with the road, so pay attention. The reception is located ways into the campground so keep driving until you see it on the left-hand side.
Site
We were parked at site 68, the parking was no issue at all. There was a decent amount of space but the campground filled up as we hit 4th of July in there.

Campground offering
If you travel with children, you will love this campground. There are daily wagon rides, different arts and crafts, playgrounds, a swimming pool, and river access.
There is a trailhead from the campground, which will take you to Mingo Falls and you should not pass on them. There is a lot to do in Cherokee – Unto these hills performance was great. The biggest issue that we ran into was the lack of signal. There is campground wifi but it was not reliable enough for working.
